From our first phone call, shelley made us feel completely at ease she was warm professional and genuinely invested in making her ceremony personal and special. Throughout the whole process, she guided us with such care and kindness taking all the stress away. On the day itself, Shelley was simply amazing she delivered a ceremony that was heartfelt, funny and full of personality she had all the guests laughing one moment and crying the next. Her charisma and ability to tell her story so beautifully made the ceremony one of the most memorable part of our day. We are so grateful to Shelley for making her wedding ceremony so enjoyable and meaningful. We were so incredibly lucky to have Shelley as our Celebrant for our wedding at Ballymagarvey Village. From the very beginning shelley was an absolute joy to work with. In the lead up to the big day, Shelley took the time to really get to know us as a couple through calls chats and genuine interest in our story. She was a constant source of calm and positivity, especially when I felt unsure about certain elements of the ceremony. Her reassurance and warmth made all the difference and helped turn any nerves into excitement.
On the day itself, Shelley brought such a personal, love filled energy to the ceremony it truly felt like she captured us perfectly our personalities, our relationship, and the love we share. So many of our guests commented on how special and heartfelt the ceremony was and that’s all thanks to Shelley. We honestly couldn’t recommend Shelley highly enough to any future couples looking for a Celebrant. Can I give more than five stars? Well I don’t think I’ll have enough space in the box to explain just how amazing Shelly is!
From the first time I spoke with Shelley (one hour and a half later on the phone) I felt like she was an old friend of mine and we were just catching up. I instantly knew she was the celebrant for us have an absolutely no clue about what happens in a wedding ceremony or how it works she was so informative about what would happen on the day and gave me a brief rundown on how the day would work. I think I was nearly 2 years before our wedding was booked with Shelly and she was always there if we ever needed any help or advice over that time. She loves the voice note as much as me which is great when you just don’t have time to wait for days for email replies and she was always quick to respond and nothing was ever a trigger to her. She took the time to get to know myself and Gary and on our day her ceremony was everything we could have dreamed of. It was so personal had lots of humour and everyone has commented just how lovely it was. No one wants a boring ceremony and you most definitely will not get that with Shelley!
Shelley was a complete professional. She arrived early on the day of our wedding and was there to set the mood has all the guests arrived to the ceremony room. Unfortunately we did have a little bit of a problem with one vendors the morning of our wedding and I don’t really know what I would’ve done without Shelly that day. My morning may have been completely different if it wasn’t for her calmness and reassuring she was pretty much held the whole thing together until we could start the ceremony. We had to delay or ceremony a little and in this time she entertained our guests with her sense of humour with and good crack! every single guest had commented on how amazing she was the most important part of a wedding day is the ceremony. As much as we all like a good party that’s the real reason we get married I couldn’t think of anyone else I would have wanted to marry us that day and I feel completely burst that Shelley was a part of our special day thank you Shelly love from Sarah and Gary.The Abbey Athy September 2023

Where do we start! From her first call with Shelley, I knew that we had made the perfect decision for Wedding Celebrant. We spoke with Shelly back and forth via text and calls for months before our wedding, as we are planning from abroad, and she was always on hand to answer are (many) questions. Shelly became more like a mum for Paul and I as the wedding day grew closer and so it felt like on the day. We had someone we knew very well Marry us , which was very special. Shelly is such a warm kind, caring and professional lady. She created the most beautiful wedding ceremony for us which both we and our Guest described as magic. Not forgetting her witty sense of humour to ensure it was an unforgettable ceremony. The most important thing for us, is that Shelley could sense how much we valued our family and friends, and included everyone including my nanny, in our ceremony. It was Shelley’s idea for my nanny to bring up our rings and this will always be a memory I will treasure. Thank you Shelley you might not of got totally rid of us yet as I’ll still check in to see how you are doing on WhatsApp the odd time . FROM OUR FIRST PHONE CONSULTATION TO OUR ACTUAL WEDDING DAY, SHELLEY MADE US FEEL AT EASE, SHE WAS SO ACCOMMODATING TO ALL OUR IDEAS AND MADE US FEEL LIKE SHE TRULY CARES. WE COULDN’T HAVE BEEN HAPPIER WITH OUR DECISION TO BOOK SHELLEY. OUR GUESTS ALL REALLY ENJOYED NOT JUST THE CEREMONY BUT THE BANTER WITH SHELLY BEFORE AND AFTER. MANY ACTUALLY THOUGHT SHELLY WAS A FRIEND DOING THE CEREMONY FOR US, AND THAT’S EXACTLY HOW HER PERSONALITY COMES ACROSS, YOU REALLY FEEL SO COMFORTABLE LIKE A LONG-TERM FRIEND IS YOUR CELEBRANT. We started as strangers and by the time we were getting Married shelley was like a very good friend.
We had the honour to have Shelley for our ceremony and she was just amazing. From that very first call until she left Shelly went beyond and above, she was always on hand when a few problems came up to give us the best advice and help solve them. We started our journey as three strangers but by the time you were getting married it was like a really good friend Marrying us, was shelley was there to help keep my now husband calm and having Shelly definitely helped keep his poor nerves at bay. Shelley it’s just the nicest person and a real pleasure to work with she even mingles with our guests and had fun with the kids before she left and said goodbye. she is a fabulous lady and I can’t recommend Shelley enough thank you Shelly for making our day amazing.

We couldn’t be happier that we picked Shelley for our wedding,from day one she was just amazing ,made us feel so relaxed and we both knew straight away our special day was in safe hands .Shelley made sure every detail was perfect from our love story the day we met ,including our three beautiful children and all our family that meant so much to us. especially that my beautiful mam had just passed away four months before our big day, shelley made sure my mom was very much part of our ceremony .It was a very very emotional ceremony ,just beautiful everything we wanted and more .All our guests were commenting all day how great she was. Shelley was our wedding celebrant (interfaith minister) for our wedding June 2023 and to say the experience we had with shelley was amazing is an understatement.From our first initial contact with Shelley to the lead up to our wedding day shelley made both myself and Gerry feel at ease. You customised our ceremony exactly how we wanted it . You told our story as we wanted it to be told, in both a relaxed and professional manner and as our guests said ,it was laid back, full of humour and just beautiful.Shelley you listened to what we wanted and included our children and siblings to be part of the ceremony.Both Gerry and I would have no hesitation in recommending shelley to future couples.

Where do I start with Shelley! if there was a job created for someone this one is for Shelley. She is excellent at what she does so passionate and creative the most relaxed atmosphere on our day! our engagement was quite quick 91 days to be exact but even in that short time I got to know Shelley so quickly, and the morning of my wedding she popped around while I was getting ready it was our first time meeting in person but felt like we knew each other for years ! Shelley asked me what we wanted for ceremony and our response was relaxed, fun filled with love and for children to be involved as much as possible ,and she made that vision a reality thanks Shelly for a beautiful ceremony and couples who have booked you are extremely lucky Eimear and Mikey.

Where do we start with Shelley , Shelley came recommended me through my nail technician and we are so thankful our paths crossed and Shelley was there to Marry us on our wedding day. Whilst on a call with Shelly to chat about if we would book her in for a big day we muted the call and both said ‘yes definitely, let’s just book her now! From there journey with Shelley was filled with laughter, checking in with calls and a helpful hand the whole way !!also Shelley loves a voice note and for all your brides and grooms getting married sometime sending an email for just a quick question and waiting 24 to 48 hours for an update isn’t what we want when we are on a roll !!so to be able to send Shelley a voice note and get an instant response made our lives easier. Shelly was amazing on our wedding day and gave all our guests a good LOL with her witty comments and putting us at ease to ,she really is one in a million and we are just so happy we chose Shelley to Marry us as our wedding day wouldn’t have been the same without her, she was also the only supplier we gave a shout out to in our speeches were the supplier wasn’t present to hear it, as we believe she definitely deserved it even though we are a month married we still send the odd checking voice note and stay in touch on Instagram and we hope it stays that way if you’re getting married you will a thousand percent not regret booking Shelley just do it. lots of love Dermot and Maria .xxxx

She was able to capture our relationship and our own personalities and speak such beautiful words and had a few jokes which went down a treat. Our family and friends were so impressed from the ceremony as it was so different to any wedding they have been to and loved how personal and heartfelt it was.
