Wedding Celebrant In Ireland–Creating a Ceremony That Truly Reflects Your Love Story

Your wedding ceremony should be more than a formal part of your wedding day. It should tell your story, celebrate your relationship and create a meaningful moment that feels completely personal to you. At Celebrate Your Day, I create warm, memorable and beautifully personalised ceremonies for couples across Ireland. As an experienced Wedding Celebrant based in Ireland, but willing to travel  in search of a good love story I take the time to understand your relationship, your personalities and the moments that brought you together. From your first meeting to the proposal and everything in between, your story becomes the heart of your ceremony. A Ceremony Designed Around Your Love Story No two couples are the same, so your wedding ceremony should never feel like a standard script. I work closely with you to create a ceremony that reflects who you are as a couple. Whether you want a romantic, relaxed, humorous or traditional feel, I can help you choose the readings, vows, rituals and personal touches that make your ceremony meaningful. Your ceremony can include favourite memories, stories about your relationship, family traditions and special words from the people who matter most. The result is a ceremony that feels natural, authentic and uniquely yours. As a  Wedding Celebrant in Ireland  Every couple deserves a wedding ceremony that celebrates their love with warmth, respect and inclusivity. As a heterosexual and LGBTQ+ Wedding Celebrant in Ireland, Celebrate Your Day welcomes couples from all backgrounds and creates ceremonies where every love story can be celebrated openly and authentically. I believe your ceremony should reflect your relationship rather than conform to expectations. A Personal Alternative to a Traditional Ceremony If you want something more personal than a traditional wedding service, a celebrant-led ceremony can offer the flexibility you are looking for. As your Wedding Officiant in Ireland, I can help you shape a ceremony around your values, personalities and vision for your day. You can choose the tone, structure and meaningful elements you want included. This gives you the freedom to create a ceremony that is intimate, emotional, joyful or even filled with laughter. Proud to Be Named 2026 International Country Celebrant Winner for Ireland, Dublin

Winning an award is always a very special moment, and I’m incredibly proud to share that I have been named the 2026 International Country Celebrant Winner for Ireland, Dublin at the International Wedding Awards. But for me, winning an award has never really been about the award itself. It’s about the recognition behind it. Every couple who chooses me to be their wedding celebrant is putting their trust in me to create and deliver a ceremony that is personal, meaningful and completely their day, their way. I never take that trust for granted. My hope is always that when my couples look back on their wedding day many years from now, they will remember not only how beautiful the day was, but how their ceremony made them feel — and that it will hold special memories for them for a lifetime. I am incredibly passionate about what I do. I put my heart into every ceremony and give 110% to every couple, because I genuinely believe that every love story deserves to be celebrated in a way that is unique to them. So yes, winning awards is beautiful. It’s a wonderful acknowledgement of the time, passion and dedication I put into my work, and I am very proud to have this recognition. But ultimately, I believe we are all winners in life. The real reward for me is seeing two people standing in front of their family and friends, making their promises to one another, and knowing that I have played a small part in creating a moment they will remember forever. That is what makes being a celebrant so special to me. And today, I’m taking a moment to celebrate this achievement and to say a very heartfelt thank you to every couple who has trusted me to be part of their wedding day. shelley I couldn’t have achieved this without you.  2026 International Country Celebrant Winner – Ireland, Dublin

It’s Perfectly Normal to be Nervous on Your Wedding Day

Every couple is different, and that’s exactly how it should be. One thing I always say to my couples is this: it’s completely normal to feel nervous on your wedding day. Standing in front of 100 or more people, knowing every eye is on you, can feel overwhelming. Not everyone enjoys being the centre of attention, and that’s okay. That’s why I always give my couples a choice during the ceremony. They can sit side-on, looking towards their guests, or with their backs to them. It’s never about being rude—it’s about creating a space where they feel comfortable, relaxed and able to enjoy one of the biggest moments of their lives. This beautiful bride Beaudine  my 2nd cousin-in-law  told me she was was feeling  a little nervous before the ceremony, but after seeing this photograph and hearing her tell me how comfortable and at ease she felt and enjoyed her ceremony  I knew I’d done my job. Being a legal wedding celebrant in Ireland isn’t just about delivering a ceremony. It’s about listening, understanding and making sure every couple feels supported, seen and able to be themselves. I may not always get it 100% right but I strive to learn every day to be the best version of myself and to deliver the best ceremony for all my couples. Moments like this are exactly why I love what I do.
